Bugsy Malone Jr - A Hit!

The Class of 2014 presented “Bugsy Malone Jr” April 4-6 to sell out crowds! This multi-talented class jumped into the show with great enthusiasm! From their initial auditions in which they had to memorize and perform a monologue, sing a show tune, and learn original choreography, to tech week when they performed live music, ran light and sound boards, and did hundreds of quick changes backstage, this class really rose to the challenge! With professionalism and a bit of humor the Prohibition era truly came to life in every character's performance. Two rotating casts and crews gave everyone a chance to shine both on stage and behind the scenes. The 8th grade play has been a tradition at MJS for over 35 years. Each year it is both a creative opportunity and a bonding experience for the 8th graders.
