Parents' Association

Mayfield's Parents’ Association brings the community together through fun activities and events throughout the year. All current parents and guardians are members of the PA, and welcome to participate in all community events.

Parents’ Association Board
Each year, a group of 25-30 parents serves as the board of the PA. They are nominated by peers or self-nominated, and serve as chair people for various events and activities. The Board meets monthly and all parents are invited to attend the meetings.

Dear Fellow Mayfield Families, 

Welcome to the 2024-2025 school year! I am honored to serve as this year's Parents’ Association Board President. I look forward to a fantastic year ahead, and am so grateful for the wonderful community of parents and guardians here at this school. Mayfield truly values your involvement, and we hope you will join us for the many activities, honored traditions, and events that will bring us together as a community throughout the year.

As parents and guardians at Mayfield, you are all members of the Parents' Association. The PA aims to offer opportunities to connect us all, and provide everyone with a sense of belonging here at our Most Joyful School.  We plan a variety of events and also coordinate many volunteer opportunities during the year. In addition, the Parents’ Association holds monthly meetings which are open to the entire parent community. I encourage you to attend as it is a great way to meet fellow parents and learn about all that is going on at Mayfield. Our meetings are held on the second Tuesday of every month right after Morning Prayer, in the Parent Resource Room. 

Getting involved as a parent at Mayfield has been an incredibly rewarding experience for me. I have made lifelong friends, have wonderful memories, and I have a deeper understanding of and a greater appreciation for the education my children receive each day. I encourage you to get involved as much as you can. Mayfield loves having you on campus, and the school is grateful to be blessed with such a fun, vibrant and engaged group of parents and guardians. You make our community stronger and we appreciate all that you do for MJS!
