Alumni Honor Retiring Teachers at Fall Mass

As a special addition to the Mass and gathering, guests were treated to musical performances by recent graduates, Tim Callobre ’07 and Isabella Weiss ’07. Tim and Isabella played a moving duet on piano and violin of “Ave Maria” Bach & Gounod, “Tango #2 Opus 165” Issac Albeniz was performed by Tim on classical guitar and the pair joined again for “Ashokan Farewell” Jay Unger. The music was specifically chosen to honor each teacher’s individual character and unique contributions to the school.

Following the Mass, guests enjoyed delicious chili made by Jacqueline Girardi Lira ’80 and visited with the teachers, former classmates and friends.
